The mission of Correctional Managed Care is to address the healthcare needs of underserved patient populations within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) and the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD).

JOB SUMMARY:
_*
* To perform a variety of responsible clerical tasks utilizing knowledge of office systems and procedures.
** _
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
_*
* + Performs varied and complex clerical tasks.
+ Photocopies materials and compiles as needed.
+ Distributes materials internally or to other departments which may require walking across campus.
+ Makes appointments, screens visitors, and answers the telephone.
+ Inputs data for reports, and completes routine office forms.
+ Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure established for department.
+ Performs other related duties as required.
** _EQUIPMENT:_*
* Standard office equipment.
** _WORK ENVIRONMENT:_*
* Standard office environment. May be required to work within the confines of a prison, jail, or juvenile detention center.
Security clearance is required; pre-employment drug testing is also required.
** _REQUIRED EDUCATION/
EXPERIENCE:
_*
* High school diploma or equivalent and one year related experience.
Salary is commensurate with years of relevant work experience.
