Educational and Experience Requirement
:
Associate's degree in related field. Three years related experience or experience in a related field. One year of experience in credentialing, affiliation agreements, and/or a related area preferred. Certifications may be required. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position
:
Performs advanced specialist duties for the School of Nursing. Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and supports the onboarding and credentialing of nursing faculty, staff, and students.
- Performs advanced specialist duties for the School of Nursing.
- Develops and maintains affiliation agreements between university, clinical, and healthcare organizations.
- Assists with the credentialing process, including records, clinical partner requirements, licensure, and certifications that meet compliance of state, federal, and organization standards.
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the credentialing and affiliation agreement process.
- Facilitates affiliation agreements and assists with the nursing credentialing processes.
- Supports other team functions, as necessary.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Requires a general knowledge of standard office functions.
- Requires good knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards for nursing credentialing.
- Must be able to use standard office software, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and credentialing software preferred.
- Must be able to apply policies and procedures and solve routine problems of a repetitive nature.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
