Position: Certified Medication Aide (CMA)

Certified Medication Aide (CMA) – Full-Time (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) at Huntsville Health Care Center
, Huntsville, TX. Skilled Nursing Facility.

Huntsville Health Care Center is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team full-time on the day shift (6a–6p). As a CMA, you play a vital role in supporting our residents’ health and well‑being by safely administering medications, assisting with daily care needs, and helping create a positive, comfortable environment for those we serve.

Your Responsibilities
  • Accurately administer prescribed medications and treatments under nurse supervision.
  • Document all medication administration and resident observations per policy and state regulations.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nurse.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
  • Provide warm, compassionate care while promoting resident independence and dignity.
Qualifications
  • Current Texas CMA certification (required).
  • Active listing on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry in good standing.
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long‑term care setting preferred.
  • Dependable, professional, and committed to quality resident care.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift/move residents safely and assist with daily care routines.
