Nature & Purpose Of PositionThis grant is funded by the USDA and focuses on developing an AI-driven Large Language Model (LLM) and a mobile application that will be used to educate farmers. The model will assist farmers in learning and identifying harmful insects, providing mitigation strategies, and promoting sustainable pest management practices. The project will require some knowledge in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and python programming.
Hired personnel should have some experience in data curation, and the ability to translate scientific knowledge into practical, farmer-friendly educational content.
Background in programming skills, Python is a must. Please submit one page explaining your previous work in programming.
