Instructional Designer

Two Sigma needs an Instructional Designer who pairs sharp Adobe After Effects chops with a real instinct for what makes people stop and look. The bargain is plain - your 3 years and Persuasion for $52,000 - $69,000, plus a creative team that hands over the reins.

• Present design rationale clearly to mid-level stakeholders and clients
• Frame the design rationale so mid-level approvers feel smart agreeing with you
• Prototype interface ideas fast enough to kill the weak ones cheaply
• Rescue a stalled concept by attacking it from an Information Architecture angle nobody tried
• Translate abstract briefs into clear, mission-soaked visual directions
• Turn complex creative information into clear, engaging visuals
• Pitch fresh concepts in cross-functional reviews and stakeholder presentations

• A communication style that translates jargon back into plain English
• Comfort owning creative decisions in a SD market
• Comfort being accountable for a performance-driven outcome in a part-time role
• Demonstrated Adobe Illustrator expertise in a fast-moving creative environment
• The humility to revise strong opinions when the data argues back
• Willingness to relocate to Rapid City, SD, or to make remote work

Built in Rapid City and run on caffeine and conviction, Two Sigma turns messy creative problems into clean, repeatable wins. People here care as much about how we work together as what we ship.

We offer $52,000 - $69,000 and the things money cannot fake, real mentorship, lasting benefits, and flexibility you will actually use.

Reposted with today's stamp, the Rapid City, SD opening still needs filling.
