Reports To: Laboratory Director
Status: 80 hours per two‑week pay period
Shift: 8‑hour shifts during the week; 12‑hour shifts on the weekends. Rotating shifts with rotating weekends and holidays

Job Summary- Perform a variety of general and specific laboratory duties in each laboratory section, including but not limited to Phlebotomy, Urinalysis, Hematology, Chemistry, Special Chemistry, Blood Bank, Serology, and Microbiology.
- Review and monitor the performance of quality control, preventive maintenance, and laboratory reports in the area assigned.
- Determine if obtained results are valid in comparison to established quality control guidelines.
- Bachelor or Associate degree or higher in chemical, physical or biological science.
- Successful completion of an approved MT/MLS or MLT program.
- MT/MLS (ASCP) or MLT(ASCP) or equivalent.
- Clinical laboratory experience preferred.
- Work involves sitting, standing, stooping, and bending; walking throughout the hospital and between physician's office locations outside the hospital. Work may require moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly).
- Requires finger/hand dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
- Work in a clean, well‑lit, climate‑controlled environment.
