Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist for an exciting 13-week contract in Huron, South Dakota

Job Description

As a Travel Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform high-quality diagnostic sonographic examinations across multiple specialties. Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting physicians with accurate and timely imaging to assist in diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Perform OB, vascular, and abdominal ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust technical factors to ensure optimal image quality
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort
• Analyze images for diagnostic quality and collaborate with radiologists for accurate interpretation
• Maintain proper documentation and adhere to facility and safety guidelines
• Ensure equipment is maintained and operating efficiently

Education and Certification Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• ARDMS certification required in at least one specialty (OB, Vascular, or Abdomen)
• Experience performing OB, vascular, and abdominal ultrasounds required
• No state license required for South Dakota
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association

• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
