Status: 80 hours EXEMPT per two week pay period
Job Schedule: Full time

Job Summary
The provider oversees clinical services including direct patient care, performing clinical skills in accordance with applicable federal and state statutes, regulations, HRMC policies, and procedures. Responsible to Medical Staff committees and MEC regarding clinical requirements and privileges. Reports to the President/CEO for administrative matters, Vice President of Quality for clinical care, and Clinic Director for daily operations.

- Graduate of an accredited PA or nurse practitioner program and certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Maintain current certification from DEA and SD Controlled Substance Registration.
- Licensed and registered as a PA or nurse practitioner in South Dakota. Nurse Practitioner registered with the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification required.
- Physical ability to assist patients, utilizing proper body mechanics.
- Strong social sensitivity and interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and healthcare personnel. Demonstrates initiative, independent judgment, leadership, and good communication skills.
Working Conditions
- Frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, feeling, talking, hearing, and moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, 10 pounds constantly).
- Exposure to communicable diseases and potential injuries.
- Inside environmental conditions with protection from weather, potential respiratory or skin irritants such as fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
