We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide services for projects of various complexities with opportunities in stormwater management & compliance, watershed management, floodplain management, National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) permitting & map revisions, flood mitigation analyses, permitting & design, stream restoration & mitigation, dam safety engineering, waterways development, bridge & culvert designs, water resources & construction permitting, and Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) services.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced engineering design tasks on complex water resource projects;
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support design and assessment of surface water systems and infrastructure;
- Develop detailed plans, specifications, cost estimates, calculations, and reports, along with permit application support;
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control reviews on projects;
- Provide mentoring, training, and oversight for staff;
- Manage water resources related projects and tasks;
- Pursue client management and business development opportunities
Your involvement throughout the lifespan of projects will be from conception through construction as you contribute to the analysis, design, development of plans & specifications, permitting applications, bidding, and construction engineering. You will work collaboratively with our diverse team of talented, passionate, multidisciplinary experts as we provide unique solutions to meet our clients’ needs with innovation and a vision for growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil, Water Resources, Biosystems Engineering (or related field);
- Professional Engineering License (PE) in West Virginia
- 15+ years of experience
- Experience managing and mentoring staff
- Experience with hydrologic and open-channel hydraulics processes and expertise in modeling these processes
- Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills with a thorough understanding of task assignment and schedule, budgeting and efficient use of time and resources
- Experience pursuing business development opportunities and managing existing clients
