The Leadership Development Program is crafted to help you make a smooth transition from college graduate to a pivotal leadership role in banking. This 20-month program offers a structured path to develop your skills, business acumen, and leadership capabilities through rotational job tracks.

  Progress through various areas of the organization, gaining foundational knowledge, leadership insight and hands on application. Departmental rotations include:
• Retail, Customer Care, Operations, Internal Audit, Credit, Compliance, IT, Trust & Wealth, Finance and Risk
• Accelerated Leadership Training: Designed to ignite your leadership journey with an intensive training program that blends skill-building workshops, real-world projects, and immersive, hands-on experience. Equipping you with expertise to drive strategic initiatives and lead effectively
• Values Focused: Incorporating our core values of ICARE (Integrity, Community Focus, Accountability, Respect and Entrepreneurial Spirit), each rotation empowers you to embody these values and integrate them into your daily work
• Mentorship and Networking: Benefit from personalized mentoring and engage with Senior Leaders and Executive Management to gain insights into effective leadership and strategic decision-making
• Tailored Development: Acquire practical, real-world knowledge of the banking industry and prepare for a critical role within our bank, aligning with your skills and career aspirations
• Strategic Projects and Assignments: Engage in high impact projects that are designed to challenge you with complex problems, enhance your problem-solving skills and allow you to propose strategic solutions that align with banks’ overall business objectives. When selecting candidates for our program, Equity Bank is looking for future leaders of our company. These individuals are high-performing college graduates who enjoy a challenging work environment and have shown a trajectory for success through education and extracurricular activities.

• Candidates must be hardworking, motivated individuals with superior customer service skills
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
