Chemical General Labor

We are seeking a Chemical General Laborer to manage front-end production activities, including operating foam machinery, foam pouring, machine setup, cleanup, and upkeep. This role involves handling raw materials, performing routine maintenance, and participating in improvement projects to enhance operations.

Operate and maintain foam machinery, ensuring proper setup, cleanup, and upkeep.

Handle and measure raw materials accurately.

Perform routine machine maintenance and preventative maintenance (PMs).

Troubleshoot issues and implement independent solutions.

Read, write, and perform mathematical computations, including fractions, ratios, weights, and percentages.

Use tools such as tape measures, knives, hand tools, power tools, and 10-key calculators.

Maintain accurate records and reports using computers and filing systems.

Communicate effectively with team members regarding production issues and solutions.

Work in varying environmental conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and inclement weather.

Wear required safety gear, including rain suits, face shields, respirators, and gloves when necessary.

Perform physical tasks such as climbing, crouching, lifting, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, and repetitive motions.

Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Experience with clerical functions such as typing, 10-key, and data entry is a plus.

Previous experience in manufacturing, chemical production, or a similar field preferred.

Must be comfortable working in conditions that may affect respiratory systems or skin sensitivity.
