Sakurai Printing Press Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled, dedicated Sakurai Press Assistant to join our growing team. As an integral team member, your primary responsibility will be operating and maintaining our Sakurai printing presses. Your ability to work within tight deadlines, keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high‑quality production standards will be key to your success in this role.

• Prudently manage and prepare inks for each press job.
• Tape screens meticulously for screen printing based on the Sakurai queue, ensuring preparedness three jobs ahead.
• Diligently remove tape and ink in preparation for screen wash.
• Load materials onto the press meticulously and efficiently.
• Accurately set the stacker for the designated material.
• Consistently monitor and maintain high print quality while the Sakurai press is in operation.
• Always ensure all necessary supplies (including gloves, rags, cups, etc.) are ready and available to optimize printer efficiency.
• Promptly deliver finished printed jobs to the next department maintaining quality intact.
• Ensure a clean workspace by removing adhesive from wheels, rollers, and side guides regularly.

• Excellent understanding of print processes.
• Keen attention to detail.

• Experience with Sakurai machines will be a plus.
