Overview
Offsite Operations Supervisor at Vaulted Deep – Hutchinson, KS. Full-time position.
About Vaulted DeepVaulted is a waste management company that removes carbon. We take organic waste that can pollute our environment above ground and safely inject it ultra deep underground—permanently removing carbon from the atmosphere while protecting local land, air, and water. Vaulted is based in Houston, San Francisco, and Kansas, with a growing team across the country. Vaulted signed the second largest carbon removal offtake ever with Microsoft in July 2025 and is expanding to new sites.
Vaulted s proprietary technology supports safe, durable carbon and waste management solutions at scale.
- Site Visits and Operations Oversight: conduct frequent visits to the offsite location to monitor daily operations; address issues in real-time to maintain productivity.
- Local Operations
Collaboration:
keep the Local Operations Manager informed about offsite status, challenges, progress, and potential issues; provide regular updates on key metrics. - Operations Meetings: attend daily operations meetings to report on offsite progress and coordinate with other teams.
- Coordination with Crews: work with offsite teams to set daily goals, monitor progress, and ensure targets are met timely.
- Maintenance Coordination: track and coordinate maintenance of offsite equipment; work with suppliers to prevent downtime.
- Volume Estimation: accurately estimate and track material volumes for shipment to the main location.
- Logistics Coordination: partner with logistics to schedule trucks for timely pickups and optimize routes.
- Material Sourcing: source needed materials and spare parts; ensure timely delivery to the site.
- Fuel Coordination: organize fuel delivery to the offsite location and maintain usage records.
- Safety and Compliance: ensure offsite operations comply with safety protocols and regulatory standards; conduct regular safety inspections and take corrective actions as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred; years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or related field.
- Proven experience in managing offsite operations, including crew coordination and material management.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to estimate material volumes, manage logistics, and track maintenance activities.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, especially on-site.
- Willingness to travel to offsite locations (typically 1–2 hour drives) and work in remote environments.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to logistics and operations management.
- Passion for sustainability and climate change mitigation; knowledge of carbon removal is helpful but not required.
Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year.
