Job Description

We are expanding staffing and have an immediate opportunity for a part-time benefits eligible (48 or 64 hours/pay period) Ultrasound Tech. Ultrasound background to include OB, abdomen, small parts, breast and peripheral vascular. This position provides the opportunity to work with an onsite Radiologist performing invasive procedures. Position includes a $5,000 sign on bonus. Position will provide day coverage at our Hutchinson and Olivia (one day a week) location.

Participates in a call rotation for evening, weekend, and holiday coverage at our Hutchinson location only.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Enters all exam charges into system and/or directs them to Material Services and Pharmacy as appropriate.
  • Performs high quality ultrasound examinations on patients of all ages, addressing and responding to their individual needs appropriately.
  • Works with the Radiologist to learn and follow their preferred imaging protocols, and to provide them with accurate information regarding the patient’s symptoms and physical history.
  • Participates in a call rotation to include holidays and weekends in order to provide emergency ultrasound coverage for Hutchinson location 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. Call and weekends are Hutchinson site only. Will travel to Olivia approximately one day a week to provide day coverage.
  • Possesses the ability to react objectively, using good judgment in crisis situations and on specific issues.
Education, Training Or Degree Required
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound and/or Radiologic Technology.
  • Satisfactory completion of a clinical rotation in Radiology and/or Ultrasound prior to graduation.
License / Registration / Certification Required
  • ARRT and / or ARDMS Certified or ARDMS Registry eligible.
  • Registered Vascular Technologist or Registry eligible.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • Must have valid Driver’s License and/or transportation to report to work in Hutchinson and Olivia, MN.
