The Details Technical Skills- Operate and maintain woodworking machinery including table saws, routers, jointers, and specialized hand tools.
- Interpret production drawings and specifications to craft fixture components to exact tolerances.
- Understand and work with a wide range of materials: wood, metal glass, plastics, textiles hardware components and electrical.
- Assemble casework, millwork, and fixtures to exacting standards using appropriate techniques and materials.
- Install low-voltage LED lighting, wiring harnesses, switches, transformers, and related components as specified in blueprints.
- Test and verify electrical connections for functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with Engineering and QA to validate installation requirements and component compatibility.
- Incorporate various materials into final assemblies
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for dimensions, assembly requirements, and fixture details
- Competence in using detailed measuring devices to ensure precision and quality
- Capable of marking fixtures accurately with correct information
- Conduct dry-fit tests of assembled units to ensure components function as intended.
- Inspect completed units for visual defects, structural stability, and dimensional accuracy.
- Record and communicate any discrepancies, and actively participate in troubleshooting and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with QA, Engineering, and Production Teams to uphold quality and fitment standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years in cabinetry, millwork, fixture production, or a related trade; outfitting or final assembly experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, material take-offs, and hardware specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with electrical systems integration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, custom manufacturing environment.
- High attention to detail and craftsmanship standards.
This role is physically demanding and requires regular movement in a production setting:
