Project Manager, Electrical Infrastructure and Critical Power

AI Prefab Solutions is a start-up company located in Hutto, TX. We build power skids, enclosures and modules for data centers and critical infrastructure.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Project Manager who will lead the execution of complex projects involving prefabricated electrical and critical power systems. Do you bring structure to complex projects? Know how to communicate with stakeholders? If you take pride in driving projects from start to completion, managing lots of detail and can anticipate potential issues this may be the position for you.

We require someone with significant experience who can independently own and lead complex, multimillion-dollar projects.

• Technical coordination: Experience working with engineering drawings, technical specifications, multiple engineering disciplines, and suppliers.
• Document and submittal management: We need someone comfortable managing detailed document registers, drawing revisions, customer comments, approvals, and technical deliverables.
• Manufacturing and procurement: Understanding how engineering approvals, material lead times, and supplier commitments impact manufacturing and delivery schedules.

Overall, you will own the project management and execution for a successful customer project. Collaborate and coordinate with our engineering, sales and manufacturing teams. Customer and supplier management is a must in this role - it requires outstanding verbal and written communication skills both internally and externally with suppliers and customers. Well qualified candidates will have at least ten years' experience with risk management and reporting.

You will need to identify project risks related to engineering, procurement, document approvals, manufacturing and cost and schedule.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related technical field.
• At least ten years of experience in electrical equipment manufacturing, prefabricated electrical systems, power distribution, or data center infrastructure.
• Experience managing complex engineering submittals involving multiple suppliers and customer review cycles.
• At least ten years of experience managing complex engineering submittals involving multiple suppliers and customer review cycles.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, manufacturing schedules, factory testing, and quality documentation.
• Deep familiarity with project management systems, ERP systems (Epicor), and document management systems.
