Hutto Grocery - Overnight Stocker - Part-Time at H-E-B

• Work overnight hours while handling a large number of products across multiple departments.
• Stock shelves, refill displays, and load, unload, and move heavy, bulky items including trucks.
• Condition shelves and products and apply product knowledge (e.g., rotation dates, shelf and label information).
• Maintain a clean and well-organized department, including back room and shelves.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and leader direction, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and company regulations for product food safety and sanitation.
• Work efficiently and with a team attitude, meeting productivity standards and taking constructive feedback.
• Coach and train other stockers as needed.

• Operate with a team mindset and cross-functionally within the store, building relationships across departments.
• Learns and models customer service and hospitality, assisting customers in locating products and answering product questions.

• Minimum age 18.
• Preferred experience in stocking and customer service.
• Experience in physically demanding work, forklift or power jack training provided upon hire.
• Understanding of SOPs and emergency procedures related to proper stocking.
• Strong communication skills, both reading and writing.
• Organization, time‑management, and attention to detail.
• Customer service mindset and the ability to perform repetitive, physical tasks that may include heavy lifting.
• Ability to think on your feet, work with agility, and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Grocery:
  Must be able to lift 50 lbs and sometimes manage over 100 lbs; constant or occasional reaching and work in various environmental conditions.
• Drugstore:
  Must be able to lift 66 lbs and sometimes manage over 50 lbs; constant reaching at waist and occasional overhead reaching.
• Dairy:
  Must be able to lift 86 lbs and sometimes manage over 100 lbs; constant cold exposure and frequent standing or bending.
• Frozen:
  Must be able to lift 60 lbs and sometimes manage over 100 lbs; constant cold exposure and occasional overhead reaching.
• General Merchandise:
  Must be able to lift 60 lbs and sometimes manage over 60 lbs; constant or frequent reaching with various environmental exposures.
