Aerial Lineman CDL

Overview

Housley Group is seeking a skilled Aerial Lineman with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) to join our team in Hutto, TX
. This field‑based role involves working on overhead telecom lines, new construction, and maintenance projects.

• Install, maintain, and repair aerial telecommunications lines and related equipment.
• Safely climb poles and use bucket trucks to perform overhead line work.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as lashers, strand machines, and hand/power tools.
• Read and interpret construction prints, work orders, and route maps.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Drive and transport materials and crew to job sites (CDL required).

• Valid CDL Class A or
  
  B.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an aerial lineman in the telecom or utilities industry.
• Ability to climb poles and work at heights using safety gear.
• Knowledge of fiber optic and coaxial cable installation techniques.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.

• OSHA 10 or 30 Certification.
• CPR/First Aid Certification.
• Experience with fiber optic splicing (a plus).
