Journeyman Electrician

A Team Home Services is seeking a full-time licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of electrical work on residential and light commercial projects, while upholding safety and compliance standards. Installation & Repairs

• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting, outlets, panels, circuit breakers, and other electrical systems in residential and/or commercial buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
• Install and troubleshoot HVAC electrical connections, generators, and service upgrades
• Replace faulty components and ensure all electrical systems are up to code

Service Calls & Diagnostics

• Respond to scheduled service calls for troubleshooting electrical issues
• Perform system tests using specialized tools like multimeters or circuit testers
• Provide solutions to customers and ensure quality workmanship

Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with apprentices, guiding and mentoring their development
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors
• Communicate clearly with customers about scope, timelines, and any needed changes

Safety & Documentation

• Follow strict safety protocols, including use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
• Document completed work, material use, and job progress
• Conduct work in compliance with NECstandards and local regulations

Qualifications:

• Current Texas Journeyman License (required)
• Clean driving record (required)
• Pass a background and drug screening (required)
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and ensure compliance with regulations
• Ability to build strong relationships with the customer and display excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage your workflow in a timely and consistent manner
• Ability to lift to 55 pounds
• Computer skills including Microsoft office

Compensation:
$30-$35 training and non-commission rate, with a potential to earn $60,000-$120,000 in commission.
