The Walsh Group – Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking a Pipe Layer for the WCNTRL/Hutto South location in Hutto, TX.

The Pipe Layer will perform pipe‑laying tasks involving physical labor (laying, joining, wrapping, sealing) on construction jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects. May operate hand and/or power tools as needed, prepare the site, and assist with other duties as assigned.

• Lay, join, align, wrap, and seal pipe sections, clay, concrete, and other types of pipe for water/gas main, sanitary sewer, and telephone/electrical conduits.
• Work with crew members and operate various hand and power tools including drills, hammers, and others as directed by management.
• Perform physical labor tasks as instructed by the supervisor.

• Preferred: 1 year verifiable construction experience.
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance on scaffold or ladder.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Must be able to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co‑workers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling, or sitting for long periods.
• Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening.

Archer Western Construction está buscando actualmente un Capa de Tubería para el WCNTRL/Hutto South, en la ciudad de Hutto TX. La función principal de un Capa de Tubería es realizar tareas de colocación de tuberías que involucran trabajo físico (colocación, unión, envoltura, sellado) en sitios de construcción, incluidos proyectos comerciales, industriales o civiles pesados; puede operar herramientas manuales y/o eléctricas según sea necesario, preparar el sitio y ayudar con otras tareas asignadas.

• Colocar, unir, alinear, envolver y sellar secciones de tubería, arcilla, concreto y otro tipo de tubería para tuberías principales de agua/gas, alcantarillado sanitario, teléfono y electricidad.
• Capacidad para trabajar con miembros de la tripulación y usar herramientas eléctricas y manuales según se indique.
• Realizar tareas que incluyan trabajo físico según las instrucciones del supervisor.

• Experiencia de construcción verificable de 1 año preferido.
• Debe poder levantar hasta 50 libras y trabajar en condiciones climáticas adversas.
• Requiere cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos de seguridad; comunicarse efectivamente con compañeros y supervisores.
• Poseer una fuerte ética de trabajo y ganas de aprender.
• Requiere buena destreza manual y estar de pie, agachado, arrodillado o sentado durante largos períodos.
• Debe poder pasar una prueba de consumo de drogas previa al empleo.
