A Typical Day...
As a Multi-Unit Team Leader, you will lead three H&R Block tax offices, providing leadership and development for teams to drive seasonal tax business growth. You will be responsible for team management, client experience, and achieving office growth objectives. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.
You will begin with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall, transitioning to full-time from January to April, including evenings and weekends as needed. This role requires in-person work at multiple office locations.
Preferred Qualifications...
- Experience managing multiple teams or locations, preferably in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries.
Responsibilities include...
- Managing staffing, operations, and logistics across offices with support from Associate Team Leaders.
- Collaborating with the District General Manager to develop growth plans and community partnerships.
- Assisting in recruiting and interviewing candidates.
- Conducting performance reviews and resolving associate issues.
- Training, coaching, and recognizing team contributions.
- Leading daily team meetings and communicating essential information.
- Creating work schedules, ensuring accurate timekeeping, and managing labor across offices.
- Traveling between office locations as needed.
- Preparing tax returns upon successful completion of required courses or assessments.
Qualifications...
- People management experience with a focus on team development.
- Ability to execute growth strategies and foster a growth-oriented culture.
- Strong decision-making, judgment, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; successful completion of tax knowledge assessments or courses.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour, based on experience and location.
