We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented sales professional to lead hotel business development efforts and strengthen revenue growth through strategic account management, market expansion, and relationship building. In this role, you will identify new opportunities, nurture key client partnerships, and collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences and achieve revenue targets.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive room revenue, group business, and event opportunities.
- Build, maintain, and grow relationships with corporate, group, travel, and event clients.
- Prospect for new business through outreach, networking, site visits, referrals, and market research.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms that support profitability and client needs.
- Partner with revenue management, operations, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and sales pitches to prospective clients.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to identify opportunities and risks.
- Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, account status, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Represent the property at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions as needed.
- Support the achievement of occupancy, average daily rate, and revenue goals.
- Proven experience in hotel sales, hospitality sales, or a similar client-facing business development role.
- Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and production goals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CRM systems, sales reporting, and forecasting tools.
- Strong business acumen and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence outcomes.
- Knowledge of the local market, hospitality industry trends, and group/business travel segments.
- Experience managing corporate, group, or catering accounts.
- Familiarity with hotel revenue management principles and distribution channels.
- Experience supporting select-service, full-service, or luxury hotel environments.
- Professional network within the hospitality or event-planning community.
