Aircraft Cleaner

Summary: This position is responsible for washing and de-greasing the exterior of the aircraft, vacuuming and cleaning the interior, and maintaining the hangar workspace, including sweeping floors.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Train on material usage, safety practices, and cleaning procedures for aircraft interiors and exteriors.
• Perform daily cleaning of aircraft interiors and exteriors as directed by the maintenance supervisor or lead.
• Report any discrepancies found during cleaning.
• Ensure equipment chocks are installed and aircraft controls are locked.
• Request next assignment after completing current tasks.
• Move aircraft with a golf cart, position aircraft in hangar and on ramp, and perform nightly stacking of the hangar.
• Remove debris from the ramp and clean the ramp area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexible schedule, willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of lifting 40 lbs. and performing physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overhead.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Attention to detail, goal-oriented, and capable of working in teams or alone.
• Knowledge of Cape Air and embodying the MOCHA HAGoTDI spirit.
