Job Overview
Responsible for overseeing center store cross brand meetings and managing outcomes to completion. This includes planning, organizing, and coordinating to ensure milestones and outcomes are delivered. The role requires leadership, problem solving skills, and the ability to work cross‑functionally with teams across the organization. Responsible for all aspects of Center Store Sourcing analytics and financial insights for assigned categories with support from the Brands Analytics team.
Drive identification of opportunities related to key KPIs (S4OC, Trade Rates and Trade Dollars with cross‑brand partners). Support key business initiatives (e.g. cost negotiations, RFPs, value capture and any evolutions of our negotiation processes) with tools and processes designed to deliver targeted financial results. Conduct semi‑weekly cross‑brand meetings designed to share best practices, elevate concerns directly related to the business, and provide a forum for planning updates and collaboration.
Serve as a key business partner on long‑range planning, emerging business opportunities and market trends (share gains/gaps, etc.).
- Project Planning:
Develop detailed project plans that outline project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. - Project Management:
Oversight of and management to deliverable timelines for key projects (e.g. Omni Reviews, CPN, scaled activities, etc.). Accountable for ensuring delivery of financial expectations associated with this work. - Strategic Planning:
Enable the strategic direction of the assigned HUB by driving collaboration across all five category managers to maximize size and scale efforts. - Performance Excellence:
Deliver consistent, high‑quality work across the assigned HUB. Drive analytical excellence, subject matter expertise and problem‑solving abilities, contributing to the success of assigned categories. - Trusted Thought Partner:
Serve as peer to CM teams while facilitating cross‑brand workshops as teams work to develop leverage points/opportunities to leverage size and scale – with ability to see across all ADUSA, not just the unique GLBs each individual CM serves. Seen as subject‑matter expert for assigned categories and key vendors in scope for those desks. - Develop and Deliver Insightful Negotiation Themes:
Synthesize data in Fact Packs/Omni Decks to yield insights and advanced analytical support to category teams. Identify opportunities and champion leverage for growth, investment optimisation and savings. - Sharing Best Practices:
Train and upskill/on‑board new A Brands associates. Transfer knowledge and expertise to other team members. - System Expertise:
Leverage all systems (DSS, Power
BI, Circana, etc.) efficiently and effectively to identify opportunities and insights to advance the financial results of ADUSA. - Process Improvement:
Continue to refine our Ways of Working in service of pushing the organisation to think differently about how to engage the CPGs to optimise our outcomes. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity within own team and the broader Sourcing organisation. - Personal Development & Continuous Learning:
Maintain Individual Development Plan and participate in continuous learning and training opportunities as business needs dictate. - Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our values.
- Applicants must be currently authorised to work in the United States on a full‑time basis until the end of their appointment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- 6+ years of related project management, sourcing, negotiating, category or vendor management experience.
- Mastery of financial components of our business (e.g. P&L and the implications of Sourcing).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.), with the ability to utilise advanced functions and features effectively.
