Montessori Toddler Room Teacher's Assistant - St. Jerome's Academy

Overview

St. Jerome's Academy in Hyattsville Maryland is seeking a Montessori Toddler Room Assistant for the 2025-26 school year. This is a part-time role for 16 hours per week (8:00am to 12:00pm) and will report to the Principal. The pay rate for this role is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Locations:
Hyattsville, Maryland — St. Jerome's Academy.

• Assist the lead teacher in student development and activities in the toddler room.
• Provide direction and gentle correction for students as needed.
• Maintain a safe and organized learning environment consistent with Montessori practices.

• Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Understanding of silence, temperance, and a joyful disposition.
• Experience or familiarity with Montessori methods a plus.
