Talent Manager, Employee Relations
Our client is a major transportation agency responsible for connecting communities and supporting mobility across the DC region. The EEO Specialist will assist in investigating complaints of discrimination, conducting trainings, and providing counseling to agency employees. This is a Full-time, Contract position based in Hyattsville, Maryland, paying $56.00 per hour.
Responsibilities- Investigate complaints of discrimination and prepare investigative reports
- Conduct EEO and other training sessions for agency staff
- Provide counseling and guidance on EEO matters
- Assist with complaint administration, including investigations and hearings
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Collaborate with internal departments on program administration
- Maintain and update database records and official files
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and People Soft HCM
- Experience in investigating and analyzing discrimination complaints is preferred
- Knowledge of federal EEO laws and regulations
