• Collaborate across engineering, finance, and operations teams to drive cloud financial management and best-in-class Fin Ops adoption.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure with a focus on cost efficiency, performance, and security.
• Develop and monitor cloud usage, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting strategies using leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Implement automation for cost analysis, tagging, and resource governance to optimise spend and improve cloud transparency.
• Contribute to cloud cost allocation, chargeback, and showback processes ensuring clear accountability across business units.
• Engage in requirements gathering, translating business and technical needs into actionable cloud financial management solutions.
• Promote a culture of cloud cost awareness, facilitating training and knowledge sharing on Fin Ops principles and cloud economics.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on trends in cloud services, pricing models, and cost optimisation methodologies.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) with hands‑on cloud engineering and management responsibilities.
• Solid understanding of Fin Ops methodology and cloud cost optimisation tools and strategies.
• Ability to analyse, report, and forecast cloud spend using analytics platforms and native cloud billing tools.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Power Shell) for automation and operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and financial stakeholders of all backgrounds.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical mindset with superb organisational and time‑management skills.
• Enthusiasm for continuous improvement in cloud operations, spend management, and service delivery.

• Relevant certifications (Fin Ops Certified Practitioner, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud certifications, or similar) are advantageous.
• Previous involvement in implementing and scaling Fin Ops practices in cloud‑first or hybrid environments.
• Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and governance within a Fin Ops context.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation technologies.
• Knowledge of financial planning processes, cost allocation models, and cloud performance management.
