LPN School Nurse (Full-time or Part-time)

• Full‑time – 30 to 40 hours a week (7am‑3pm or 8am‑4pm; specific hours may vary)
• Part‑time – 20 to 25 hours a week (8am‑12pm; specific hours may vary)
• On standby – PRN start upon hire;
  Part‑time/Full‑time start immediately upon a posted vacancy or at the next available school year start date.

• Maryland State or Multi‑State LPN/RN nursing license (active, unencumbered)
• Minimum 2 years of applied LPN or RN experience
• Reliable transportation within Prince George's County and surrounding areas
• Current CPR/BLS
• Current negative TB test

• Safe medication administration and care‑plan documentation
• Comfort with seizure precautions, G‑MIC‑KEY tubes, tracheostomy care, diabetes management, straight/Foley catheterization (topics reviewed in mandatory training)
• Prolonged standing, repositioning, ambulation support
• Lifting up to 60 lbs
• Working around young children (play, standing, sitting); assisting with daily routines
