Property Accounting Manager

We have an immediate job opportunity for you as an Analyst//Senior Analyst//Team Leader//AM - Property Accountant.

Shift Timings : 3:00 PM IST to 12 AM IST

A property accountant manages the financial records, transactions, and reporting for real estate properties owned, managed, or leased by a company or individual. Their primary goal is to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information related to property operations, which helps in managing property profitability, compliance, and investment insights. Here’s a detailed look at their responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements specific to each property, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Create and analyze variance reports, actual financial performance against budgets.
Process/ensure payment of invoices related to property expenses.
Tenant billing, ensuring that rent and other charges are invoiced accurately and timely.
Track accounts receivable, manage collections when necessary.
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in the general ledger.
Reconcile bank statements, tenant deposits, and other financial records related to property accounts.
Ensure tenant data and lease terms are up-to-date in the accounting software.
Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and any applicable real estate industry regulations.
