About the Role
Nexbase is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting functions for both our US and India entities. This role requires hands-on expertise in US and Indian accounting and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting for US and India entities.
Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
Prepare monthly financial reports and management statements.
Ensure compliance with US and Indian tax laws, including tax filings and statutory requirements.
Coordinate payroll processing and related tax compliance.
Work with external CPAs, auditors, and tax consultants.
Manage intercompany transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
5+ years of accounting experience.
Mandatory:
Proven experience handling accounting and taxation for both US and India entities.
Strong knowledge of:
US Federal and State Taxes
Indian GST, TDS, and Income Tax
Financial Reporting and Compliance

Experience with Quick Books
Strong Excel and analytical skills.

Must-Have Requirements
Hands-on experience managing accounting, taxation, and compliance for both US and Indian businesses.
Strong working knowledge of Quick Books.
Ability to work independently and manage multi-entity accounting operations.
