Essential Qualifications
- Master’s degree in English / Literature / Linguistics / Education (Bachelor’s may be considered with strong IB experience)
- IB training and experience in:
- MYP Language & Literature and/or
- DP English A (Language & Literature / Literature)
- Minimum 2–3 years of IB teaching experience (MYP/DP preferred)
- Experience in unit planning using IB frameworks:
- MYP:
Inquiry-based units, global contexts, ATL skills
- DP:
Assessment criteria, Paper 1 & 2, IO, HL Essay (if applicable)
Professional Skills
- Strong understanding of IB assessment and moderation
- Ability to design concept-driven, inquiry-based lessons
- Experience with formative and summative assessments
- Familiarity with Manage Bac / IBIS / Atlas or similar IB platforms
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
Desirable / Added Advantage
- IB workshop certification (Category 1 / 2 /
3)
- Experience teaching both MYP and DP
- Experience with TOK integration (especially for DP)
- Exposure to IA / internal assessments moderation
- Willingness to contribute to curriculum development and school initiatives

- Commitment to continuous professional development
