Position: Grade 1 & 2 Home Room Teachers
* We’re Hiring | Grade 1 & 2 Homeroom Teachers – Cambridge Primary
* Northfield International School is looking for passionate, creative, and dedicated Primary Homeroom Teachers (Grades 1 &
2) to nurture young learners and build strong academic foundations through the Cambridge Primary framework.

* Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary curriculum

Teach core subjects including English, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies

Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment

Foster literacy, numeracy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Use activity-based, inquiry-driven, and differentiated teaching strategies

Maintain classroom routines and implement positive behaviour management

Conduct formative and summative assessments and maintain student records/portfolios

Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and well-being

Contribute to school events, assemblies, and co-curricular activities

Participate in professional development and collaborative planning

* Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) / Primary Education

Cambridge Primary training or certification preferred

Teaching certification, such as the International Teaching Qualification

Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Primary Grades (Grade 1–2 preferred)

Experience in Cambridge Primary / IGCSE / IB / International Curriculum is highly preferred

Strong understanding of inquiry-based and student-centred learning

Excellent classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
