Curriculum Planning & Delivery
● Design and deliver age-appropriate Spanish language lessons aligned with school and curriculum expectations.
● Develop lesson plans, learning resources, assessments, and enrichment activities for Grades 3–8.
● Integrate listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills into classroom instruction.
● Create engaging and interactive learning experiences that encourage active participation.
Assessment & Reporting
● Conduct formative and summative assessments to monitor learner progress.
● Maintain assessment records and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
● Support students in achieving language proficiency benchmarks.
Classroom Environment
● Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
● Foster confidence in learners to communicate in Spanish through games, role plays, projects, and collaborative activities.
● Incorporate cultural elements from Spanish-speaking countries into lessons.
Collaboration
● Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
● Participate in department meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
Qualifications & Experience
● Formal certification or qualification in Spanish language teaching preferred.
● Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or Cambridge school setting.
● Experience teaching elementary and middle school learners is preferred.
Language Proficiency Requirements
The candidate should demonstrate:
● Minimum A2 level proficiency in Spanish (B1/B2 preferred).
● Strong speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.
● Ability to conduct classroom instruction primarily in Spanish while scaffolding learning for beginners.
Skills & Competencies
● Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
● Ability to design engaging learning experiences and instructional materials.
● Strong understanding of language acquisition and differentiated instruction.
● Creativity in making language learning fun, meaningful, and relevant.
● Familiarity with technology tools that support language learning.

● Understanding of Cambridge pedagogy and inquiry-based learning approaches.
