Role Description The Cambridge Head with Principal experience is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Hyderabad, responsible for overseeing the Cambridge curriculum and overall academic and administrative operations of the school. The role involves providing strategic direction, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across grades, and aligning school practices with Cambridge and CBSE standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring and evaluating faculty, monitoring classroom practices, leading curriculum planning and assessment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
The Cambridge Head will collaborate closely with the management team on school policies, admissions, parent communication, and student wellbeing initiatives. The role also includes leading school improvement plans, organizing academic events, fostering a positive school culture, and representing the institution to external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Principal, Head of School, or senior academic leader in Cambridge or similar international curricula.
Strong academic background with a master’s degree or higher in Education or a related field; relevant certifications in school leadership or Cambridge programs are an advantage.
Demonstrated expertise in curriculum design, assessment practices, and instructional leadership for Cambridge and CBSE boards.
Ability to lead and develop diverse teaching teams, with strong skills in mentoring, performance management, and professional development.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students, families, staff, and external partners effectively.
Experience in school operations, policy implementation, compliance, and quality assurance processes.
Proven track record in driving school improvement initiatives, managing change, and fostering an inclusive, student-centered environment.
Comfort with data-driven decision-making, use of educational technology, and modern pedagogical approaches.
