Role Description The MYP-DP Visual Arts educator will design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based visual arts lessons aligned with IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) frameworks. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning units, facilitating studio practice, guiding learners through experimentation with different media, and supporting the development of personal artistic voice and portfolios. The role involves assessing student work using IB criteria, providing constructive feedback, maintaining an organized and safe art studio, and integrating global and local artistic perspectives into learning experiences.

The educator will collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects, contribute to exhibitions and showcases, and participate in professional development and school events. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.
Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Visual Arts, including practical skills in Art and Painting.

- Experience with Art Direction and Graphics in educational or creative contexts.
- Ability to integrate Music or other creative disciplines to enrich arts learning where relevant.
- Previous teaching experience in MYP and/or DP Visual Arts, with familiarity with IB philosophy and assessment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
- Skill in guiding students through portfolio development, exhibitions, and reflective practice.
- Effective classroom management, clear communication, and a learner-centered, inclusive approach.
- Comfort with using digital tools and technology to support art-making and documentation.
- Capacity to collaborate with a diverse team, engage with parents, and contribute to a positive school culture.
