Role Description The Client Relationship Officer (CRO) serves as the primary liaison between our U.S.
-based clients and our internal tax preparation team. In this role, you will guide clients through the entire U.S. tax filing lifecycle, ensuring a seamless, stress-free experience. You will be responsible for onboarding, collecting U.S. tax documents, providing proactive status updates, and addressing general client inquiries. By managing the client relationship, you allow our tax professionals to focus entirely on accurate tax preparation.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Onboarding & Communication
Act as the first point of contact for new and returning clients initiating their U.S. tax return process.
Clearly explain the tax preparation workflow, timelines, and firm requirements to clients.
Manage inbound and outbound communications via phone, email, and client portals with high professionalism, aligning with U.S. business etiquette.
2. Document & Information Management
Send secure document requests and follow up with clients to ensure all necessary U.S. tax forms (e.g., W-2s, 1099s) are submitted on time.
Perform initial reviews of submitted documents to ensure completeness before handing them off to the tax preparation team.
Assist clients who are struggling to use secure tax portals to upload their financial documents.
3. Workflow Coordination
Act as a bridge between the client and the internal tax experts.
Relay specific questions from the tax team to the client and ensure prompt, clear responses.
Update and maintain accurate client records and status pipelines within the firm’s CRM or practice management software.
4. Post-Filing Support
Deliver finalized tax returns and payment/refund instructions to the client.
Ensure all signature authorizations are collected prior to e-filing.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
Freshers are welcome and encouraged to apply! (0–1 year of experience in customer success, BPO, or client relations is a plus, but not mandatory).
Education:
Any Bachelor’s degree (B.Com, BBA, or related fields preferred).
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; ability to explain processes clearly and confidently to U.S. clients.
Organization:
Strong multitasking abilities, a willingness to learn, and high attention to detail.
Availability:
Must be willing to work U.S. shifts (Night Shifts in IST) to overlap with client business hours.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: ₹16,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on interview performance and relevant skills).
