Overview:

Senior Systems Engineer with expertise in designing and managing systems architectures. In this role, you will ensure seamless integration and automation across IT environments, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency and reliability. The Engineer supports, implements, and enhances enterprise Identity Access Management systems. This role includes Active Directory and Entra  to ensure secure and efficient access controls. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to align IAM solutions with business needs and maintain compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities:

Include, but not limited to:

- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Conduct research on new technologies and make relevant recommendations to management
- Perform triage on issues, provide technical solutions, and stay up to date on software releases and updates
- Implement best security, governance, and compliance practices across infrastructure environments
- Scripting and automation to create and run scripts to automate repetitive processes
- Monitoring various IT components and applications for trend analysis and continuous availability
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, such as Service Now
- Ensure that all work and changes are performed according to the defined change management process to minimize disruption to existing business use
- Represent the team during major Incidents, perform RCA’s and drive to resolution
- Serve as technical consultant and technical leader
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, helping develop their technical skills
- Lead teams to resolve unusually complex Infrastructure problems and provides highly creative solution
- System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains
- Evaluate new technology options and vendor products for quick onboarding of automation
- Interface with application vendors, technical resources, and other technology partners as necessary
- Continuously review, improve, and contribute to transforming the Identity Access practices.
- Provide status updates on projects, presenting findings to senior leadership routinely.
- Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) User Lifecycle Processes, including User Activity Monitoring, Access Re-Certification, Reporting, and IAM Standards.

- Experience with IAM Operational tasks – User provisioning, Platform Configuration, Role design/mining, build and execute periodic access reviews.
- Ability to Implement/Customize IAM workflows, forms, rules, provisioning, and certifications.
- Ability to onboard third-party and cloud applications using the IGA platform and outside of the IGA platform.
- Ability to drive identity management strategically across the enterprise in a zero-trust model aligning with IAM standard practices.
- Evaluate an application's user base to determine if the application requires RBAC (Role Based Access Controls).
- Support day-to-day security controls including but not limited to creating access and control, and monitoring.
- Maintain security governance and policies for the business, groups, products & security access types ensuring we can pass audit reviews.

Work timings:
Monday to Friday, 4AM to 1PM ET

Work Location – Global Delivery Centre, (Hyderabad) SHI India, Mon - Fri work from Office.
