Performance Test Engineer

Responsibilities:

- Able to develop performance test scripts independently, design the performance test load scenarios, analyze test results, and prepare performance test reports. Must have prior experience in testing the high complex, mission critical enterprise grade products that are targeted to be used by a million-client base.
- Thorough hands-on experience in performance test scripting and test executions with Load Runner.
- Migrate the existing Load Runner scripts after the application upgrade.
- Learn and Implement Load Test, Soak test, Volume test, Stress tests methodologies.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them.
- Monitor Splunk, Dynatrace for any issues.
- Proficiency with monitoring/analyzing overall system performance using Dynatrace, Splunk.

- Experience with Azure services like Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Azure Dev Ops.
- Experience in perf testing cloud (Azure) apps/platform, microservices.
- Implementing performance tests into a CICD pipeline
- Experience in SQL Server and No SQL database (Mongo Db)
- Performance Testing types involving below:
- Web Performance testing
- API Performance testing
- Database Performance Testing
- Soak Testing
- Stress testing
- Load Testing
- High attention to detail with excellent analytical, research and troubleshooting skills.
- Go-getter attitude. Must be able to work independently. Strong sense of responsibilities and quality focus, fast learner and excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable in proactively communicating with others both within and outside of the immediate team to resolve issues and get questions answered.

Below would be added advantage

- Performance tuning and Optimization exp with database
- ASP.Net exp with Microsoft dotnet framework.
- Knowledge of Open-source tools is added advantage

- Experience with SoapUI, Postman, JMeter preferred
- Experience in Linux environment.

Qualifications

Required:

- Masters / Bachelors' degree in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, 4 to 12 years of work experience).
- Must have strong hands-on experience in developing the performance scripts on Load Runner, analyzing the results and provide the solutions for performance issues.
- Working knowledge with one programming language (like C, C#, JavaScript).
- Must have worked on large scale enterprise level products.
