PEGA Test Lead

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced PEGA Test Lead to lead testing activities for PEGA-based applications across functional, integration, regression, and UAT phases. The role involves defining test strategy, managing test teams, coordinating with PEGA developers and business stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and define end-to-end test strategy for PEGA applications.
- Lead test planning, estimation, scheduling, and execution activities.
- Strong Life and Annuities product knowledge
- Manage and mentor a team of PEGA testers.
- Design and review test scenarios, test cases, and test data aligned to PEGA rules, flows, and case life cycles.
- Ensure testing coverage for:
- Case management
- Business rules (Decision Tables, Decision Trees)
- UI (Sections, Harness, Portals)
- Integrations (SOAP/REST, MQ, DB)
- Coordinate with PEGA developers, architects, product owners, and business users.
- Drive defect management using tools like JIRA/ALM.
- Ensure compliance with SDLC / STLC / Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Support UAT and production validation.
- Identify opportunities for test automation (PEGA Test Suite, Selenium, or other tools).
- Prepare and present test metrics, dashboards, and quality reports to leadership.

Required

Skills & Qualifications

- 7–10+ years of experience in software testing, with 4+ years in PEGA testing.
- Strong understanding of PEGA PRPC architecture, case types, flows, and rules.
- Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing of PEGA applications.

- Experience with PEGA Test Suite (PTS) or other automation tools is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data validation, and integration testing.
- Experience leading teams in enterprise-scale programs.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or Waterfall delivery models.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications

- PEGA Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
- ISTQB / CSTE (optional)
