Role:
We are building a world-class technical pre-sales team to serve as the bridge between our innovative capabilities and our clients' most pressing needs. We are seeking experienced Solutions Engineers to join our rapidly growing team. You will play a key role directly supporting our sales organization through the cycle as technical expert.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Discovery:
Lead in-depth discovery sessions to understand client pain points, technical environments, and business objectives.
- Solution Design & Architecture:
Develop tailored solutions and architectures to support enterprise customers.
- Solution Demonstration & Storytelling:
Develop compelling, customized demonstrations that connect our technical capabilities to concrete business outcomes.
- POC Leadership:
Execute POCs (typically 6-8 weeks), owning the technical success criteria and ensuring a clear path to value.
- Content & Asset Development:
Create and refine technical sales collateral, including solution architecture diagrams, proposal content, competitive comparisons, and ROI models.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of overall experience including at least 5 years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting) within a technology or IT professional services company.
- Deep hands-on expertise in at least one of our service areas:
- Observability/ITOM:
Proficiency with tools like Elastic, Dynatrace, New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, or Service Now ITOM.
- Cloud & Dev Ops:
Expertise in cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS, Azure), containerization (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Application Modernization:
Experience with legacy application assessment, cloud migration strategies, microservices architecture, and modern development frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead technical presentations, whiteboarding sessions, and complex demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.
