Test Lead

Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Test Lead to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will

be the technical and strategic anchor for the quality squad, ensuring that our platforms are

built to the highest standards of engineering excellence. We are looking for a seasoned

leader who can work independently without supervision, taking full ownership of the

end-to-end quality lifecycle from strategy to production-grade deployment.

Our Core Quality Stack

Automation & Framework Design

• Playwright / Selenium:
For architecting scalable UI automation suites.

• API Testing:
Advanced validation using Postman or REST Assured for

microservices.

• Performance & Contract Testing:
Ensuring system resilience and service-level

integrity.

Quality Governance & Data

• Test Data Management (TDM):
Designing strategies for complex data-heavy

environments.

• SIT & E2E Testing:
Managing cross-component communication and full user
- journey validation.

• Metrics & Reporting:
Defining KPIs for defect density, test coverage, and

automated pass rates.

Infrastructure & Observability

• CI/CD Integration:
Implementing automated quality gates within delivery pipelines.

• Log Analysis:
Using ELK or similar stacks for deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA).

• Defect Management:
Advanced tracking and triaging using Jira.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert architectural blueprints into detailed test strategies, automation of

roadmaps, and environmental requirements independently.

• Quality Strategy Ownership:
Define the end-to-end testing lifecycle, including SIT,

E2E, and Performance testing, ensuring "simulation-ready" standards.

• Autonomous Leadership:
Lead the quality efforts for major platform modules,

making critical technical decisions and resolving blockers without the need for

constant guidance.

• Automation Architecture:
Architect and maintain robust, reusable automated

testing frameworks that integrate seamlessly with CI/CD pipelines.

• Defect Triage & Management:
Lead triage sessions, performing technical root

cause analysis and coordinating with developers to prioritize high-impact

resolutions.

• Team Mentoring:
Act as a technical beacon for the quality squad, conducting

rigorous script reviews and setting the standard for quality engineering.

• Stakeholder Alignment:
Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to

ensure acceptance criteria are testable and business goals are met.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of professional experience in Software Quality Engineering.

• Proven ability to work independently and lead technical quality initiatives without

supervision.

• Expert-level understanding of UI Automation (Playwright/Selenium) and API

Testing.

• Strong track record of delivering low-level test designs and comprehensive quality

strategies.

• Demonstrated experience in Test Data Management and Performance Testing at

scale.

• Industry

Experience:

Exposure to industrial domains such as Manufacturing,

Logistics, or Transportation is highly regarded and will be considered a significant

plus.
• Experience testing complex, data-heavy systems or Digital Twin/Simulation

platforms.

• Familiarity with containerization and cloud-native quality workflows.
