About the Role:

The manager of corporate IT Systems is accountable for the end-to-end design, security, availability, and user experience of iBASIS’ corporate IT environment globally.

This role owns the entire corporate technology stack—from identity and endpoints to collaboration platforms, VDI, security controls, and IT support—ensuring that employees can work securely, reliably, and productively from anywhere.

The role acts as the single owner of the corporate digital workplace, balancing security, compliance, cost, and user experience, while partnering closely with the CISO and business functions.

End-to-End Accountability Scope:

This role owns Corporate IT “from identity to device to productivity to support”, excluding only:

- Core network/telecom production infrastructure
- Business application ownership (SAP, billing, etc.)
- Central SOC (owned by CISO)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Corporate IT Strategy & Architecture (E2E Ownership)

- Define and own the Corporate IT and Digital Workplace strategy aligned to business growth, security posture, and cost optimization.
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture to ensure corporate IT platforms align with enterprise standards.
- Own technology roadmaps for:
Identity & access, Endpoints & VDI, Collaboration & productivity, Corporate infrastructure platforms.
- Drive simplification, standardization, and lifecycle management.

2. Identity, Access & Digital Trust

- Own end-to-end identity lifecycle across corporate systems:
Microsoft Entra  (Azure AD), Active Directory, MFA, SSO, Conditional Access.
- Ensure least-privilege access, role-based access models, and audit readiness.
- Partner with HR on joiner–mover–leaver automation.
- Ensure identity posture supports Zero Trust principles.

3. Corporate Infrastructure & Platform Operations

- Own administration and reliability of:
Windows Servers, VMware vCenter & ESXi, Omnissa Horizon (VDI), Atlassian (Jira, Confluence/Wiki)
- Ensure:
Monitoring, patching, backup, and recovery, Capacity planning and performance management, Platform hardening and lifecycle upgrades
- Maintain AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, printers, and file services.

4. Microsoft Cloud & Digital Workplace Platforms

- Own Microsoft 365 E2E:
Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, Office applications
