- Build our platforms, systems, and infrastructure using your solid expertise in coding.
- Work closely with product development teams, providing hands-on engagement to develop, direct, and implement reliable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Participate with a cross-department functional team to establish a cloud operational governance framework.
- Perform routine service request tasks to assist other teams with platform services.
Must Have Skills
- 8+ years of Software Engineering experience with 3–5+ years in Cloud Engineering.
- Expertise in Linux, security, networking, containerization, and cloud design patterns.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform to automate provisioning and deployment processes.
- Extensive experience with AWS IAM, EC2, Lambda, EKS, ECS, networking, security, CI/CD, and configuration management tools.
- Deep understanding of container orchestration fundamentals and architecture.
- Experience with at least one scripting language such as Shell or Python.
- Expertise in implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, including configuring IAM policies, VPC settings, encryption, and monitoring solutions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, application architects, and engineering managers to design and implement solutions and align on design decisions.
- Ability to guide the team through solving complex infrastructure challenges.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail.
- Experience with observability solutions.
Nice to Have Skills
- Knowledge and working experience in implementing one or more observability platforms such as Prometheus, Influx
DB, Dynatrace, Grafana, Splunk, etc., to measure telemetry data like logs, metrics, and traces.
- Experience with Big Data platforms such as AWS EMR, Databricks, Cloudera, or Hortonworks.
