Job Summary

Arcelor Mittal is looking for SAP Basis Analyst(s) with 2–4 years of experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4

HANA environments, with the following databases: HANA DB, Oracle, ASE, and operating systems AIX/Linux, working in close collaboration and deep partnership with internal and external IT teams.

The scope of responsibilities will be Arcelor Mittal Flat Europe SAP support in complex and critical SOX SAP environments.

Key Knowledge Background and Responsibilities

- Manage the relationship between SAP Application teams and external providers
- Keep track of projects, demands, and incidents
- Escalate issues to external providers and follow up on resolution
- Coordinate with all stakeholders when required by projects and major changes
- Manage invoices from external providers, including checking monthly against contracts
- Guarantee contract adherence by external providers
- Manage exceptions (wrong/incorrect invoices)
- Manage contracts of external resources, both internally (follow AM processes) and externally (with external providers)
- Provide inputs for budget, MRFs, and invoices to Fin Ops
- Generate a monthly list of SAP Notes and SAP Hot News for all SAP landscapes
- Both Basis and application notes
- Evaluate and implement Basis-related SAP Security Notes and SAP Hot News on a monthly basis
- Monitor Basis SAP Notes implementation monthly on all landscapes and ensure systems are adequately patched as per SOX ITGC requirements
- Act as project coordinator in special technical SAP projects
- Monitor archiving processes on all landscapes and ensure they run adequately
- Support internal demands from the SAP Basis team
- Provide access to ticketing systems, communication tools, email, and remote access to SAP systems and network resources
- Support SAP Basis team members with remote access issues
- Manage and support SAP GUI implementation and SAP Logon XML configurations
- Work in a SOX environment and follow SOX processes

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

A Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience

2–4 years of experience in IT infrastructure in a SAP Basis role.
