Infra Automation Leader

Exp: 15 to 20 years

Technical Skills

- Strong scripting expertise in Bash and Power Shell (critical requirement) for infrastructure automation and orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management, provisioning, and large-scale automation.
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure and GCP.
- Deep expertise in Linux and Windows server administration, including automated build, configuration, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Proven experience with:
Python for backend services, APIs, and automation frameworks.
- Modern web technologies such as Type Script, React, or Angular for building management portals and automation interfaces.
- Remote execution frameworks and protocols including SSH and WinRM.
- Strong understanding of on-premises infrastructure, including virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and hybrid/cloud migration patterns.
- Experience designing and operating scalable, secure, and resilient automation platforms.

Leadership & Soft Skills

- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and scale engineering teams of 8–15 members.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Experience managing distributed and remote teams across geographies.
- Demonstrated capability to balance technical debt, feature delivery, and operational stability in fast-paced environments.
- Strong customer-focused mindset, ensuring automation solutions align with business and user needs.
- Ability to drive engineering best practices, ownership, and continuous improvement across teams.
