Role Overview
The PMO Intern will support the Project Management Office in tracking project progress, maintaining documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to project management standards. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or MBA/BA students looking to build a career in Project Management, Business Analysis, or Product Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and tracking
- Maintain project documentation, reports, and dashboards
- Track project timelines, milestones, risks, and issues
- Support status reporting and MIS preparation
- Coordinate with project managers, business teams, and technical teams
- Help in resource allocation and utilization tracking
- Assist in change management and risk management activities
- Ensure compliance with PMO processes, tools, and governance
- Support Agile/Scrum or Waterfall project activities as required
Required
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or IT (or pursuing)
- Basic understanding of Project Management concepts
- Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Basic knowledge of project tools (JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet – preferred)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and multitask
Good to Have
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum framework
- Exposure to reporting dashboards
- Certification awareness (CAPM, PMP, Scrum – not mandatory)
