Job Description

Primary (Mandatory)

Skills:

SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform):  Hands‑on experience with core BTP services, especially  CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model .
Strong JavaScript experience:  Solid coding fundamentals in JavaScript (Node.js exposure can be basic).
SAP UI5 / Fiori development :
Building apps with UI5 or Fiori elements, consuming OData services.
SAP Integrations:  

Experience with SAP S/4

HANA, Success Factors or SAP Integration Suite (CPI) integration flows.
API & OData knowledge:  Ability to develop/consume REST & OData APIs.
Development tools:  Strong working knowledge of  VS Code  and Git-based development workflows.

Secondary

Skills:

Node.js (basic to moderate):  Enough familiarity to work on CAP Node.js services.
Type Script  experience.
SAP HANA exposure  (HDI, SQL, modelling).
Dev Ops / CI-CD  experience with cloud-native development practices.
AI-assisted development tools:  Git Hub Copilot, ChatGPT etc. as referenced in the JD.
Agile methodology  exposure.

Additional Details:
Deep expertise in Node.js development within the SAP BTP ecosystem, including CAP (Cloud Application Programming) model, Fiori, and SAP UI5.
Familiarity with VS Code or similar IDEs is essential. Exposure to AI tools, vibe coding, and modern development practices is highly desirable.
The consultant should be comfortable working independently and in agile teams, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
