You will lead the design and execution of the reliability engineering strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and resiliency goals. This includes championing the integration of AI-powered observability and automation into developer workflows, enabling intelligent alerting, automated incident response, and predictive analytics to reduce MTTR and improve reliability. As a people leader and strategic partner, you will develop and maintain a sustainable organization through hiring, coaching, and performance management, while fostering collaboration with stakeholders across Application Development, Cloud Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and Security.

You will be instrumental in shaping the future of reliability engineering at The Hartford, leading transformational change, and ensuring the highest standards of security, efficiency, and resiliency.

Success in this role will be measured by the stability and quality of customer-facing services, reduction of technical debt, proactive risk mitigation, and the continuous evolution of developer tools and practices to support business growth and operational excellence.
