Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with strong expertise in both Windows and Linux environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance of systems and services.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
Monitor & manage applications hosted on IIS.
Monitor & manage MS SQL database Server
Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
Administer Linux services such as Apache/Nginx, SSH, FTP/SFTP, Cron, and system monitoring tools.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and security hardening using patch management.
Monitor system performance, logs, backups, and disaster recovery processes.
Troubleshoot hardware, OS, network, and application-level issues.
Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V/XCP) and Private Cloud.
Implement and maintain backup solutions and recovery testing.
Handle user access management and security policies.
Work closely with network, database, and application teams.
Document system configurations, procedures, and SOPs.
Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements.
Administer Microsoft 365 tenant, users, and licenses.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
Strong experience in Windows Server administration .
Strong experience in Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, etc.) .
Strong experience in managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO.
Strong experience in managing Microsoft IIS
Linux command line administration and shell scripting.
Experience with virtualization technologies.
Knowledge of storage, RAID, and backup systems.
Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLAN, Firewall, VPN).
Experience with patch management and system security.
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
Microsoft 365 administration.
Soft Skills
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Good communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Preferred Certifications (Optional)
RHCSA / RHCE
Microsoft Certified:
Windows Server / Azure
VMware VCP
