We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with a solid understanding of AWS infrastructure and expertise in virtual hosting for multiple websites. The ideal candidate should have intermediate knowledge of AWS infrastructure, possess L3-level skills in AWS Dev Ops, and demonstrate proficiency with monitoring tools. This role involves working with AWS services to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud solutions that support business operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and manage AWS infrastructure to ensure high availability and scalability of hosted applications and services.
- Implement and maintain virtual hosting environments for multiple websites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and manage Dev Ops processes.
- Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues using AWS monitoring tools (e.g., Cloud Watch, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Implement best practices for security, backup, disaster recovery, and data protection in the cloud environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in AWS environments, providing L3-level support for complex infrastructure and Dev Ops-related incidents.
- Assist with maintaining and improving the efficiency of cloud-based hosting environments, ensuring seamless operations for hosted websites.
- Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies for the AWS cloud environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Route 53, RDS, Lambda, and other AWS services.
- Intermediate knowledge of AWS infrastructure and networking (e.g., load balancers, auto-scaling, security groups, and VPN setups).
- L3-level expertise in AWS Dev Ops, including experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, AWS Code Pipeline, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Cloud Formation, Terraform).
- L2-level expertise in virtual hosting and managing multiple websites on AWS infrastructure.
- Experience with basic monitoring tools (e.g., Cloud Watch, Datadog, Nagios) to track performance and availability of services.
- Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance standards in AWS environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a cloud-based environment.
Good to Have:
- AWS certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Sys Ops Administrator, or Dev Ops Engineer).
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation purposes.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices on AWS.
